MEMBERSHIP
Membership in JCSSA is open to all persons 21 or over who meet the membership requirements below and can legally possess and own a firearm. Membership is capped at 400 members and is currently full. There is a waiting list for membership that is filled on a first come, first served basis. The waiting list is quite long, and the estimated wait time is now 4 to 6 years.
If you wish to be placed on the JCSSA membership waiting list please fill out the form, found at the bottom of each page, and send it to us. Be sure to fill out the form completely, we must have your name, phone number, email and mailing address. You will receive a return email with your position on the list.
The requirements for membership are:
1) Be of legal age to own and possess a firearm.
2) Be a member of either the NRA or TSRA.
3) Provide proof of "good conduct" in one of the following ways: A) provide a copy of a current Texas CHL or LTC; B) provide a copy of an FFL or peace officer's commission; C) provide a State of Texas CR-63 background check that is dated within the 60 days prior to your acceptance to JCSSA. 4) Pay a membership fee of $150.00 plus an administrative fee of $50.00 for a total of $200.00.
