A reminder to all JCSSA members that the October General Membership Meeting will be on the third Wednesday, October 17th, same time and place. The October meeting will also be nomination of officers for 2019. Nominations will be accepted for: president; vice-president; secretary; treasurer and one director-at-large. Elections will be held at the November 14th meeting.
Attention all members:
After a lengthy discussion regarding the safety of our members, the Board of Directors has made the decision to prohibit the use of any device that increases the cyclical rate of fire of any type of firearm, including but not limited to crank firing systems, bump stocks and binary trigger systems (those that fire on the pull and the release). This decision will become part of the JCSSA range rules effective 3/8/2017.
It has been reported that some members are not “spinning” the numbers on the lock after entering or leaving the range. Please take the time to spin the numbers so that unauthorized people do not have access to the range. This is a security as well as a safety matter and all members should help keep our facility safe and secure. Thanks for your cooperation and use the range often and safely.
For all members:
For a copy of the by-laws or minutes of meetings, send me a specific request via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will fill your request upon verifying your membership.
This is a reminder that the Range Rules state that fully automatic weapons are prohibited at the range. There are no exceptions to this rule. No member or guest, law enforcement or not, may fire a fully automatic weapon at the range at any time. The Range Rules are posted at the top of the hill as you descend into the range area and at the top of this page, 3rd item from the left. Please read them and abide by them. Do your part to keep the range safe for you and your family. Thanks very much for your cooperation and enjoy your range.
